Digital Video Editing

My first digital video editing project done in class was a super fun experience. It was so much nicer to be able to add in the transitions so that it actually looked like the characters were interacting, even though the scenes were recorded at different times. In the end, it ended up being a hilarious video that incorporated lots of new techniques I'd never used before.

I also really liked that we took on the format of an interview because it helped my group to think about our topic in a different way.

There are so many ways to use digital video in the classroom...my mind is already stirring with ideas! Check back to see what I've come up with...

  2. I completely agree that being able to edit and add transitions made a world of difference in the video making experience. The quality seemed so much better, and the videos seemed much more fluid than the videos we made without editing last year!
